Methodology

The AILE Index is a composite 0 to 100 score built from public discourse about AI, the real questions, confusions, and misconceptions people post online, classified into core literacy dimensions. The companion AI Explainer leaderboard blind-judges how well leading models explain AI concepts to a beginner against a published rubric. Both refresh on a recurring schedule and ship with a fully open methodology.
